Privacy notice

Your details, held with care.

Last updated 18 July 2026

Her Father's Daughter (“HFD”) is a Christian women's community based in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. HFD is responsible for deciding how the details collected through this website are used. This notice explains what we collect, why we need it and the choices you have. For any privacy question, email wearehfd@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you register your interest, we collect:

  • your name and email address;
  • your phone number, if you choose to give it;
  • the communities or Gathering you select;
  • anything you choose to write in the optional message box; and
  • a record of your consent and its wording version, the form source, submission time and country code supplied by Cloudflare.

Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data, including your IP address, to deliver and protect the site. HFD does not store your IP address in its registration database.

Why we use it — and our lawful basis

We use these details to respond to your interest, send joining information and contact you about the HFD community and Gathering. We rely on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR. Because your selections or message may reveal information about your faith, we also rely on your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a). You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing it does not affect use that was lawful before withdrawal.

Your phone number and message are optional. We need your name, email address and consent to respond to an online registration.

Who receives your details

Only HFD team members who need the information can access registrations. We also use:

  • Cloudflare — to host and secure the website, verify Turnstile challenges and store registrations.
  • Resend — to send confirmation and team notification emails, which can contain registration details.
  • Google (Gmail) — to host the HFD contact mailbox, which may receive registration summaries as well as emails sent directly to it.
  • Luma — the Events page embeds a Luma registration widget. Luma may receive technical browser data when it loads; details submitted there are handled under Luma’s privacy policy.

HFD does not sell personal details. We share them only with providers needed to run the website and communicate with you, or where disclosure is required by law. Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where UK transfer rules apply, HFD will use a permitted route, such as UK adequacy regulations or an appropriate safeguard supported by any required transfer risk assessment. You can ask us for information about the relevant countries and safeguards by emailing the address above.

How long we keep it

We keep registration details while they are needed to respond, administer participation and send the updates you agreed to receive. We review and remove details that are no longer needed. If you withdraw consent, we will stop consent-based contact and delete the details unless a limited record must be kept for a legal or security reason.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for a copy of your details, correct them, request deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, ask for portable data where applicable, or withdraw consent. Email wearehfd@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies, analytics and automated decisions

HFD does not currently use advertising or behavioural analytics cookies on this website, and does not make automated decisions about you. Cloudflare Turnstile and the embedded Luma widget may use technical data needed to provide their security and event services.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the website or our providers change. The date above shows when it was last revised.

“Grace and peace to you.”
